BabyTimelapse is a mobile app for parents who want to take one photo a day, organize those photos into 30-day months, and generate a monthly timelapse video of their baby's growth.

Privacy at a glance

The app is designed to work without an account. Your baby profile, photos, reminder settings, and generated videos are intended to stay on your device unless you choose to save or share them.

Information you enter

You may enter your baby's name, birthdate, and daily reminder time during setup or later in settings.

This information is used to organize months, calculate day and month progress, and schedule reminders inside the app.

Photos, videos, and device permissions

BabyTimelapse requests access to your camera or photo library so you can add a daily photo.

The app also requests notification permission for daily reminders and media library permission if you choose to save a generated timelapse video.

Your photos and generated timelapse files are stored locally on your device for the app to function.

How your data is used

Your data is used to power the core experience: daily capture, month tracking, reminder scheduling, timelapse generation, and optional sharing that you initiate.

BabyTimelapse is not built around public profiles, social posting, or selling your family data to third parties.

Analytics and diagnostics

The mobile app includes support for limited product analytics that may record anonymous usage events, such as onboarding completion, photo capture, or timelapse generation success, when analytics is configured by the developer.

This usage data is intended to improve reliability, understand feature usage, and reduce product issues. It should not include your baby photos or the exact contents of your timelapse videos.

Sharing and exports

If you choose to share a timelapse video, that share action happens using the sharing options available on your device.

What happens after you share depends on the service or app you choose at that time.

The app concerns family memories, but it is operated by anyone using the device.
